> Campus Associate Degree Programs
The Associate Degree is
usually pursued for one of two reasons: either to get higher
education for an entry level job or to use the credits to
later on get a Bachelor's
Degree. Accredited Associate Degree
programs are designed to be equivalent to 2 years of a
4 year degree, and a full time student can expect to receive
their Associate in 2 years or less, after completing 60 credits.
Your Associate degree credits will consist of electives, required
general education courses, and classes in a chosen field of
focus. If you have taken your Associate Degree classes at
a local community or junior college, your credits can then
transfer over to a 4 year college or university of your choice.
The completion of an average of 60 additional credits - which
includes a specified number in your chosen major at the college
or university - is then all you need to earn your Bachelor's
Degree.
